Well , it's game on . I wish news services would get people who know what they are talking about . I've already suggested reading The Desert Generals :

To understand the basic topography and strategy of fighting in this part of the world . I would also read of how the Luftwaffe lost the Battle of Britain by changing it's targeting from the coastal radar stations to the cities . By now the U.S. launched Tomahawk missiles would have blinded the Libyan air defence system , too late for the first ( " rebel " ) aircraft shot down . The next targets will be the Air Force and Ground air defence to secure control the sky , probably attacking armour and artillery at the same time . I would guess the rebels will advance westwards using this cover . In the past most operations have been determined by logistics , in particular the need for water .

A " just " war ? Probably an 8.5 on a scale of 10 .
