Two Pakistani brothers started the company , AQTH ( mentioned above ) , in 2001 to manufacture various leather items . ( A vaguary of leather production on the Sub Continent is that leather may be either cow or buffalo , depending on the religion of the production workers . )

We were approached some time ago to market these or similar items , but decided not to as our local market was small and distribution was time consuming . Many suppliers produce leather products . Several years ago we designed a range of leather paddles , one of the design breakthroughs was the use of locally produced plastic reinforcing . ( We still have the patterns , if anyone is interested . )
