Yahoo Groups Adult Age Requirements

I am putting this here because I do not know where else it should go . I ( and I am sure many other Yahoo Group Administrators ) have been driving prospective Group members mad by denying membership to applicants who do not have an age shown in the Email advice Yahoo sends to Administrators , while their Yahoo Profile may show an age . The following Email explains what has been going on . Basically it says " Blame Yahoo! " . It is not an academic point because Yahoo has , in the past , deleted Groups without warning because Members did not have an " adult " age shown in the " Adult " Groups Membership List .

A while ago , I started to approve applications where I could verify an " Adult " age elsewhere on Yahoo . I apologise to HJD because I decided to use him as a test case , delaying his Membership approval .
