Spanking Marks ( Bruising )

.

.
Well she has some nice marks on her bottom and I think what may have caused them can be seen hanging on the wall behind her . No doubt she is very grateful to the people at
Real Spankings Pass for taking the time to put them there . Cane etc. marks are the easiest to control , that is if you want to minimise them ( marks may be regarded as a badge of honour to remain for as long as possible for some ) . I am not going to repeat what is on a spankoz.com page , but this is the gist of it .

.

What we regard as " spanking marks " are considered to be bruising by the medical profession . A bruise is called a contusion , an area of discolored skin that develops when the lining of small blood vessels ( called capillaries ) is damaged allowing blood cells to escape into the skin and surrounding tissues .

.

A little preparation goes a long way to reduce bruising which occurs when the skin is impacted by an implement , even a hand in some cases . The skin is stretched causing damage to the upper layer of the skin and the underlying capillaries . The likelihood of this type of damage varies tremendously between individuals . But , in almost all cases the application of a skin moisturiser , such as Sorbolene beforehand makes the skin and underlying tissue more elastic and , therefore less likely to be damaged . Water based products are best , they are rapidly absorbed , reducing the likelihood of implements " skidding " from their intended point of impact and can easily be washed out of clothing . Many " professionals " recommend applying arnica afterwards .

.

It is worth noting that some implements are more likely to damage the skin , especially when the skin is stretched . Avoid using anything with sharp corners or edges . The traditional " touch your toes " position carries the greatest risk of skin damage . Most judicial style punishments are administered to recipients held in some sort of frame with a more or less straight back , either in a near vertical or horizontal position . The birch traditionally is applied with the recipient kneeling on a birching block .

.

Immediately after a spanking , pressure should be applied to the marked or swollen areas to force the blood back into the blood stream . Needless to say this does not work if the skin has been broken . Ice also helps .

.

A prolonged spanking may produce something like this ;

.

.

where the top layer of the skin has been worn away . This is really a minor " graze " caused by the sliding of something over the skin . Each time this happens , a small amount of the epidermis may be removed , eventually exposing the underlying dermis . There is a risk of infection . The best way to prevent this from happening is to wear tight pants or shorts , these used to be called " whipping pants " . Shorts are to be preferred because the legs are exposed to the air , which helps in cooling the spankee . Tight clothing compresses the buttocks making thinner implements more effective and at the same time reducing skin damage and bruising .
